Filipinos genuinely do nail themselves to a cross.
They fasten themselves using ropes and they have a pedestal to stay stood up, but, once they find a good position, they proceed to hammer nails through their hands and feet.

I was surprised to see how little blood comes out, though.

The sun and the Moon

Just a quick glimpse of the sun and the moon how they are now... I'm not sure if I want to keep the faces looking rough as they are now, or if I should tidy and ink them up. A decision to be made at a later date after the storyboard has been finished. Oh, and I need to find a way to make the moon more readable at smaller sizes... As it stands, it can be hard to recognise that he has a face when he's smaller.
